Dark, witty and unsettling, the poems reimagine horror films not as passive nightmares, but emotional reckonings, including “Dracula,” “Creature from the Black Lagoon,” “Night of the Living Dead”, and “Suspiria”. Allison Goldstein is a poet, writer, and visual artist. She received her MFA in Poetry from California College of the Arts. Her work has appeared in a variety of literary and cultural publications including Not Very Quiet: The Anthology, Molecule, Gyroscope Review, Horror Homeroom, Last Girls Club, and Maximum Rocknroll.
